Our mission at Northern Elementary Family Resource Center is to build partnerships between school, home, and community to assist families and students with basic needs and empower students to succeed in school and life by promoting:
• early learning and successful transitioning into school
• the physical, mental, and emotional well-being of our students
• parent, family, and community involvement in school programs and activities
Some of the Things We Offer:
• On-site preschool child care program and after-school child care program
• Parent Connection Time for caregivers and their children birth to 5 years
• Partnerships with Local Mental Health Agencies to provide on-site Individual
Counseling
• On-site School Nurse
• Weekend Backpack Program in collaboration with Project 58:10
• Dental Health Education/Mobile Dental Bus
• Character Education
• Back to School Extravaganza in collaboration with Victory Christian Fellowship and
other local donors.
• On-site Clothing Closet for needs while at school
• Annual Food Drive
• Volunteer Program
• Resource/Lending Library
