The Kentucky Summative Assessment (KSA) scores have been released and Pulaski County Schools is a high ranking district in Kentucky.  Overall, our elementary schools rank within the top 6%, middle schools within the top 10%, and high schools within the top 17%.  We're proud of our students, teachers, and staff, and we're grateful for the support we receive from our community partners!  We strive to meet the needs of each child, and continuously improve their educational experiences.  Way to Go Pulaski County Schools!

Many of our families have received notification from USAC that EBB benefits have expired and that you need to reapply.  This is the program that provided families with discounts on home Internet service and the option to buy devices at discounted prices.  If you have received this letter and need to reapply, click HERE for a step-by-step guide on completing the online application.  If you need a district letter confirming your child's eligibility under the CEP program, please contact your school to request this letter.

Stuff the Bus flier

Kentucky has been approved to provide summer P-EBT benefits as offered by the USDA. Please note the following important aspects of the approval:

  • All eligible students will receive the same total benefit amount of $375 for the covered summer period. The benefit will be a one-time deposit to the existing cards that should occur in August.
  • Summer P-EBT is an “extension” of the 2020-2021 P-EBT benefit, so all students that ended the school year as eligible will automatically receive the benefits, including students that graduated.

Pulaski County School District will be participating in the Seamless Summer Option of National School Lunch Program and the School Breakfast Program.  As part of this program, BES, EES, MEC, NES, NHES, NMS, OHES, Eagle, PCHS, PES, SHES, SES, SMS, and SWHS will offer healthy meals every school day at NO COST to all enrolled students and children age 18 and younger that are siblings of enrolled students for school year 2021-2022.  Students and these specific eligible community children will be able to participate in these meal programs without having to pay a fee.  Click on the above article title for additional information.

The Emergency Broadband Benefit Program by the FCC provides a temporary discount on monthly bills for qualifying households.  Recipients may receive up to $50/month discount on broadband service and associated equipment rental and a one-time discount of up to $100 for a laptop, tablet or desktop computer.  Your household qualifies for this benefit if your service provider participates and if you have a Pulaski County Student in your home because our school system participates in USDA Community Eligibility Provision providing all students with free meals at school.
